Hygienization of the mouth

During the first visit, the dentist examines the state of the patient’s teeth and establishes a plan of further treatment which is adjusted to every patient’s individual needs.

Not infrequently, the preliminary phase of treatment consists of hygienization of the oral cavity. The latter is made up of scaling, that is removal of plaque by means of an ultra-sound apparatus. Subsequently, the dentist carries out a sandblasting procedure which consists in cleaning the surface of teeth as well as of the interdental spaces from deposits and discoloration.

In our Clinic, the above-mentioned procedures are supplemented with the application of fluorescent foam which enables the process of remineralization of minor dental damage which arises in the effect of the adverse consequences of the operation of acids, bacteria and unremoved plaque deposits. The above-mentioned procedure is usually carried out every 6-12 months.

Regular visits to the dental clinic, combined with professional prophylaxis will allow you to retain healthy teeth and gums until an advanced age.
